About Our "Mastermind" Competitions
Every few months, we will host a "Mastermind" competition, which offers site members the opportunity to answer a challenging creative writing prompt in 30 days. After the grading period, the top three writers will be contacted by us for their permission to post their work on our website's "Mastermind Winner Submissions" page. Full credit will be given to each writer and their name will be acknowledged properly.
This is a special competition because any site member can participate for free and no application is required. No knowledge or previous experience in (creative) writing is needed to take part.
Why don't we offer prizes?
We want to encourage members to participate and compete in an authentic manner. We believe that writing is best practiced when it is fun, challenging, and self-initiated.
What other platforms are used?
Other than our website where anyone can create an account by signing up for free, we also post actively on our Community Discord. The Discord will serve as an online space for announcing competitions and help facilitate discussion during our writing contests. Please note that you will need to create a Discord account to join our Discord and it is free.
