OFFICIAL MASTERMIND COMPETITION FORMAT & RULES (UPDATED AUGUST 2025)
FORMAT
Every few months, our community will host a one-month-long “Mastermind” competition. We will post an announcement about any new upcoming season at least one week before the season premieres.
During the month, any member is welcome to participate in writing and posting a response to a single creative writing challenge.
After the month, all opportunities for submissions will close and the judge will spend around two weeks grading the submissions. They will provide scores and feedback.
Please give the judge(s) at least two weeks after the due date to process and return the feedback and scores. Once the scores are finalized, the results will be published in the group page that is associated with the season you participated in. Scores are assigned based on the following marking criteria:
Life is not black and white; rather it is shades of grey. Having reasons to do evil does not make it right, neither does it justify it, but a person can still be good even if evil is done.
